Windows 7: How to Prevent the Mouse from Waking your PC
if you could help me out with the erasing of CDs then email me at joshjendreas@hotmail.com
Are you sure your drive has cd-rw abilities? What drive do you have?
same whether I use my DVD or CD drives.
Any idea? I have a nearby IMAC, is there an easy way to erase on the iMAC? Thanks. Steve T.
please advise. Thanks
Take a look at http://www.tech-recipes.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1709 and see if that helps you out.

Solution:- In My Computer, right click on cd drive and select properties. In Recording tab, ensure that "Enable CD recording on this drive" is checked.
This will give you right click "erase" etc.

(I've had the cd-rw won't erase issue.. even a claim that it was, but they wouldn't burn to it, also have the dvd-rw issue of erasing and burning)
As far as 700mb cd-rw and older cd writers.. this is a bad mix... especially if you are using adapted easy cd creator. Nero is your best bet for erasing these discs, but i have had some success with a combination or XP and it's DLA functions.
As odd as it seems, i say the opposite for dvd-rw. My best experiences have been with easy cd 5 platinum with the xp migration. It erases and burns my dvd-rw's perfectly every time!
and i have a drive that HP doesn't even admit to existing as far as drivers go.. lol (similar to the 300n now available)
it worked a treat TRY IT AND SEE
