I followed this instruction and I was able to get my "clock" back, however it is an empty shell of a clock, without the numbers-just a round circle with hands that don't work....what else can I do to restore my gadgets? My Norton "Protected" emblem in the gadget window is not showing either like before-all it says is "status now in small print with a circle that goes around...?? Any help please? :)

just as Taryn chatted, my "restore gadgets installed with windows" is grayed out also and will not let me click it. How can I correct this? Also when I added a calendar to the sidebar it does not show the day or date....only a orange square.

Me too. Same problem. All gadgets destroyed, I cant do nothing with them. :(

OH MY GOD.... Thank you so much!!! My mom wanted her daisy clock back and it cost me $200 to take the train from Toronto to Windsor just to fix this thing!

My "restore gadgets installed with windows" area is grayed out -under maintenance.
What do I do? or where do I redownload the package again?
