i have a good cheat:

help -all
(make sure you leave a space and put that little - thing as well :)
it tells u most of the non- boolprop cheat

and uhh ths one

boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
this cheat is like the bomb! shift - click on anything and it will show another secret menu! like shift click on an orchard and click debug harvest, then u can!!!!!!!!!!! wow what a cheat :)

Most of the cheats actually work even in Sims Life Stories. Only a few are actually case sensative you just have to play around with them....

actually once you delete your sim you can not restore them. I did a no no moved mine from Riley's Story to Freeplay then back to Riley's Story because of an issue from her past then when she came back to free play her own kids didn't even know her. Never do this ever. Just make a doppelganger to take that persons place with same motivation that looks like them much easier.

I cannot thank you enough. Indeed, I have an HP, and couldn't open the cheat window either. After fixing the problem like you said, all is well again. I cannot, for the love of my life, imagine playing The Sims without cheat codes :D.

hi guys i just found this on yahoo and i don't know if it works but i'll keep you posted heres it :::Yes, I had this problem. So hopefully I can help you. Do you have an HP? Because this problem occurs mostly on HP's, although not necessarily. And for me, this happened when I had recently installed an update on my computer.

It's not a problem with the game, usually this is caused by another program on your computer assigning the shortcut "ctrl + shift + C".

So it's pretty easy to fix. Just go to your computers desktop. Make sure no programs are running in the background. Then hit "ctrl+shift+C" And then a program should pop up. For me (and for most people) it will be a program called "HP healthcheck" although not necessarily. It doesn't matter what it is, just make sure you know the name of the program, and then you can close it. Then go into your start menu and find the program. Don't open it, just right click on it, and then go to properties. Then in the properties box, there should be an option that says "shortcut keys" with "ctrl+shift+C" written in it. Just delete that, or put something else in if you want it, just make sure it doesn't say "ctrl+shift+C" anymore.
Then your cheat bar should work in the sims again.

Here are a few cheats i havent been able to locate ever since i located them.

-agesimscheat on/off (allows u to set the age for any sim toddler and up)
-motivedecay off/on (stops needs from falling)
-unlockcareerrewards (duh)

and the whole megacheat, i have seen different caps for em all, and they all seem to work. here is mine.

boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true

i dunno. i go with what works.

Guest, Most of the Cheats/commands are case sensitive, so try different captializations like Intprop censorgridsize 0 or IntProp censorgridsize 0

I recently bought the Sims 2(no expansions, just Sims 2[file version 1.0.0.1022]), and I noticed a few of the cheats don't work. I can get the debug stuff and things like the motherlode cheat to work, but most noticibly the no censor cheat (intprop censorgridsize 0) does nothing, even the no censor patches that are for download from various places don't work. Not sure if it is because I recently bought the game, mabey they removed that code from the newer versions of the game.
