Could be formatted slightly differently to make it more readable.
"if this is the case, then manually set the MAC address of the second card to some unique address with the following command:
ifconfig ce1 ether de:ad:be:ef:f0:0d"
I think you forgot the "group" statement:
"ifconfig ce1 server-int"
"ifconfig ce0 server-int"
If you use IPMP with test addresses it might also be a good idea to set some static routes in case the default gateway fails.
