Thanks for the post - but since Bind 8 is somewhat dated it would be nice and beneficial if you could update the blog with Bind 9 and more importantly RNDC and its implmentation keys and how to configure/connect and restart remote servers.

Furthermore, since Solaris 10's SMF function I presume a section on service manifest would you usefull aswell.

Overall thanks for the post a simple copy and paste had me up an running within a few minutes (then I had to get rndc.conf and svcs working)!!
