Samsung 37 LCD BEWARE!!! What a Nightmare
Model number LN37A550P3FX2A
I bought this unit, new, from Circuit City on Sept 26th, 2008. Within two weeks the picture failed and the sound remained. Called CC, no exchanges due to finacial problems, must take to service center. They replaced a board which then failed and then replaced it. Repair time almost two weeks. Installed three days, same failure. Called Samsung again, will not replace unless it fails twice. Beware of this model and repair policy.

The TV is great. Currently i have just the basic free channels. But it takes 8 seconds to show something on the screen after we turn it on using the remote. Switching between channels also takes about 2-3 secs.
