Thanks this was a great help! I couldn't figure out why it kept saying I had to be an administrator when my login is part of the administrator group.

This was really helpful.. I've been getting "Microsoft Outlook Has Encountered a Problem and Needs to Close" error and this fixed the problem.

XobniRdo.dll does not exist after uninstall but Outlook insists it is trying to load it. It is not listed in the Add-ons or in the options other advanced.

Thanks for the help. I would not have thought to look in the trust centre.

So that I could disable the plugin I was using I had to run the program as administrator since it was installed for all users. When I did that it worked like a charm.

Microsoft did us no favors by using the "GO" button. As if that means anything to anyone. GO what, GO where? Stupid.

Should be right there > disable/enable/remove whatever.

Sometimes updates to products are done just for the sake of it. Or by people that don't actually use them. Ask the Vista development team about how that worked out. Biggest failure ever. Moving buttons here and there, tweaking the UI according to "studies of effectiveness". Yeah, effective for who? Most of us having been using Windows for 20 years, I don't need you tell me whats more effective! I lost more time farting around trying to figure out how to do simple stuff I used to be able to do in my sleep. Again, FAIL

Hello, CT:

You have to select the proper option in the "manage" dropdown below (I suggest you to check all the opts) and then click on the button; you'll find there a list where you can uninstall as well as uncheck the plugin in trouble...

Ok, wtf.. When I go into the Trust Center > Add-ins, I don't see any check/uncheck box by the add-in (nor does the picture you posted above show any disable/enable boxes) and I don't see any option there to disable them. And yes, I'm admin on my machine. What's the trick here?

hey, every time i open the outlook 2007 i got the following message ( the add-in AVG Extension" cannot be loaded and has been disable by outlook, please uninstall the add-in, and i try the above mentioned solution and it's not working??

I am using outlook 2007, I cant drag and drop a recipient from CC box to BCC or To box. When I drag from To/CC/BCC box to CC/BCC/To box it disapear. Please help me, I tried Add-in as above but till Not Help me solve it out. Thanks.

When I try to disable "Outlookaddin" in the tools>trust center>add-ins, the computer pop up says I have to be an administrator... but I am the only one who uses this computer and do not know how to show that I am the administrator so I can disable the add in.

When you click "Go" change the button before it to "COM Add-Ins" to "Exchange Client Add-Ins" or something like that. Look in there for it.

Yeah did the above and I still get the message when I open outlook:

The Add-In "Outlook Connector Extensions (msncon32.dll) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by outlook. Please contact the Add-In manufacturer for an update. Please uninstall the Add-In.

Did you hear me thumping the keys!!! Going crazy, please help
