  My profile is private and I pasted the code. I viewed my profile and it worked. BUT WHEN I LOGGED OUT AND WENT TO MY PAGE TO SEE WHAT THE GENERAL PUBLIC SEES, ALL of my info was there, it's also there if I did a name search.
  
  Why is that happening and how can I get it to where it doesn't show to the general public and in searches. There is a way. I've seen private profiles that have no info showing.

  the only way to prevent that information leak is to delete your profile.... unfortunately the ENTIRE history of your public profile is archived by many search engines.

  I used to have a code where I could hide my personal information (name, sex, age, location) and replace it with any text that I wanted. I lost it! Does anyone know how to do this?

  If you still want your headline then go to the headline section, ype what you want it to say then type this after it in the headline box:

  however it your age..etc still shows when people do a search etc.. Why IDK? let me know if anyone can fig that out! =)

  your age still shows up because you're just applying a code to hide everything. you information is still on your profile, but you're covering it by putting a "no display"

  i had a code to hide everything but my headline, but i guess myspace made it so that code can't be used. so i've been searching and searching for another that works. WOO! thank you!

  i have my friends set as private but if you get on a cell phone like a blackberry you can still see them! i have looked all over for a code to hide my friend list from cell phones but cant find one can anybody help me? thanks.

  It won't hide it when you do the search but it hides it when you have a private profile.. and when any random person goes to look at your page..
  
  paste it in your headline after you put your words or whatever.. and then save your changes.. IT WORKS! no lie.
