    OneCare Live is not free. Once it comes out of beta you will need to buy a subscription.

    You can easily disable and re enable Onecare. from the command prompt. You may have to log in as an administrator. Press WINDOWS-R and at the command prompt enter

    net stop winss

    or

    net start winss

    Helpful when the program doesn't start correctly.
