Hi thanks, "Open" means nothing. Was "open in a new window" what you meant? Seems likely. What does the corresponding reg entry look like for Firefox? It's not obvious to me; but then, I do have a default search engine problem.

This is far too complicated. Can't you (or someone with a brain that functions at least a little better than mine) come up with a simpler, viable, workable solution?
