Your info did not help. My click wheel does not function. My Nano is fully charged. I have clicked the Hold switch on and off several times. I can only turn the Nano on by flicking the hold switch. Then it does not stay on. What do you advise?

my daughter has an fifth genration ipod her screen has no respond.
we have try to reset it and still come up blank no apple icon or nothing.

my ipod nano like the new generation one well my friend was playing with my ipod and excidentley put a lock on it and neither one of us know what the combination is. how do u get rid of it?

I have locked Nano (4GB) but I can connect it to my PC, gets recognized as "USB Mass Storage Device" in Device Manager of Vista.

I did restore and sync of songs with it.

But, when I disconnect, the locked icon is still there and the Nano is still locked.

I re-connect it to my PC. Again, it is recognized, and I can manage the song - sync and play them.

But, remove it from the PC, it remains locked. Removing it from the PC and using the MENU+SELECT button has no effect on it. The screen is unresponsive.

How do I move forward with this? Thanks.
