Once you are done using safari and are ready to delete your internet history do the following steps:

1. Click the double square button in the lower right hand corner of the screen to open a second safari window.
2. Hit "New Page"
3. Click the double square icon again, scroll and close any pages that are not the newest one you just opened.

Now when you go to Safari settings and clear History, Cache and Cookies the back button will no longer tattle tale on you.

Re: iPhone: Clear cookies in Safari browser | Apple iPhone | Tech-Recipes

This works for me too but the next time I log into Safari, if you click on history it is empty but down at the bottom you can hit the back arrow key and it'll take you back to all the pages that were in history. How do you get rid of that?

Re: iPhone: Clear cookies in Safari browser | Apple iPhone | Tech-Recipes

Thanks ...just what I needed to know.
