  • 8O is that all? Having installed DNS on W2K and W2K3, i can tell
you that that is just the beginning of installing DNS. You have
to configure alot to get it to work. That is one lame recipe.
How do you build a car; get frame, get engine, get some wires,
put it together and put some tires on it, when it's done, turn
    the ignition key!
  • Sticks and stones, lilliabeth. I disagree with this anonymous poster. Your recipe is clear, direct, and instructs a user how to perform a specific task. That's what a recipe is supposed to do. If it had been titled "Install and completely configure a DNS server," then a comment that it is incomplete would be appropriate.

I'm betting that lilliabeth has a great deal more to share regarding configuration of the DNS server on 2003 but that your pointless comment will discourage her from sharing her knowledge with everyone else here. If you were looking for more information about DNS configurations, you've not only shot yourself in the the foot, but thousands of other folks.

Lilliabeth, if you are still out there, I think your recipes are great. Please don't let the useless rantings of an anonymous coward prevent you from sharing your knowledge with others. Many people can benefit from it here.
