    The 2nd method doesn't work. I tried blocking a website and used method 2. It doesn't work because google redirects to the actual website if src, dest languages are the same.

    the first one works but if you want to see a streamed video it just shows an error in the video player.

    In youtube for example, you can see everything on the page except for the video.

    you can also use http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ for url translations should also work for sub-pages

    yes you can enter a website using cache otherwise can not download anything from the site.but this is nice stuff

    I had problems with the translation at first too. It says it can't do english to english translation. I played around with it and selected dutch to english. Even though its not dutch in the first place it worked for me. Give it a try a let me know :)

    I agree with you on two things: that the cache method works a charm for static websites and that free proxies can be unreliable. I use Freedur to access popular blocked websites like Facebook and Youtube which are inaccessible in China. So far it's the only thing that's reliable for me.

    Someone asks why block web sites one reason is for legal reason's. If a site is blocked at school bring it to the IT dept. attention if you have a good reason why you need to access the site they should listen. Think of all the productive work people could accomplish if they spent the time trying to bypass proxies by actually working!!
