At the taskbar, select Start|Run.&lt;br&gt;   2. Type&lt;br&gt;      MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER&lt;br&gt;   3. Then type&lt;br&gt;      MSIEXEC /REGSERVER&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;No visible change will take place. However, if you run the setup program again, it should now work.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If this method fails, you will need to reinstall the Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI). Consult the Microsoft website for details of how to do this&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Then - Reinstall your antivirus and Scan your system.&lt;br&gt;And check system with a Anti-Spyware app like Spybot.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Scott S.</dc:creator><pubDate>Sun, 07 Mar 2010 11:19:17 -0000</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: Desktop Fails to Load at Startup</title><link>http://www.tech-recipes.com/?p=3497#comment-6659684</link><description>&lt;p&gt; I tried everything above and none of it worked.
