*****Dont rename all the files just rename the movies folder that all those files are in......

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142

In the above path is where the "movies" folder is in...just name it something else and you are good to go

No need to rename movie folder. Skip 4 and save yourself some time.

Follow first 2 steps as stated above, then

3. rename the Movies directory to Movies_orig

skip 4.
